Tory Lackman

I am a Speech-Language Pathologist and a certified member of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologists du Québec (OOAQ). Having studied both psychology and linguistics at Concordia University as an undergraduate, I developed a passion for understanding how language functions in the brain. I then obtained my Master of Applied Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from McGill University. Throughout the years, I have worked in a variety of pediatric settings, such as daycares, schools and medical clinics. I have added experience working with the neurodiverse youth, where I have helped increase effective communication in autistic individuals who are non-speaking or who use delayed echolalia. My overall goal is to help youth communicate effectively, foster their confidence and enhance their overall quality of life.
