DBT Skills Groups

Eight weeks, four skills, in a small group. Practical DBT skills for strong emotions, hard moments, and relationships, with groups for ages 12 and up.

Dialectical behaviour therapy, or DBT, was developed by Dr. Marsha Linehan. It teaches practical skills for handling strong emotions, getting through hard moments, and relating to the people around you.

Our DBT Skills Groups teach those skills over eight weeks, in a small group of people close to your age. Each weekly session is 90 minutes, and the focus is on skills you can actually use in everyday life.

Groups meet in person at our clinic in Saint-Laurent, and are led by Jaye Miller and Jamie Rose. Start dates are not set yet.

Groups are small, so spaces are limited. To register your interest or to ask a question, call us at (514) 989-0818 or email admin@jadetherapy.ca.

Emotion Regulation

Understanding your emotions, what sets them off, and how to bring them down when they feel too big.

Interpersonal Effectiveness

Asking for what you need, saying no, and caring for your relationships while keeping your self-respect.
