Counselling Student Under Supervision by Dr. Jamie Duggan
I’ve always felt drawn to understanding people and what shapes their inner world. Over time, both personal and professional experiences deepened my awareness of how complex mental health can be, and how often people carry pain that isn’t visible to others. These experiences shaped my belief in the importance of creating a space where clients feel seen, understood, and able to show up as they are. I believe that when people feel safe to speak openly, without judgment, meaningful change becomes possible.
Clients often experience my presence as warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental. Sessions with me feel steady and supportive, with space to explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace while building insight and self-understanding.
Outside of work, I feel most grounded when I’m with the people I love, sharing good laughs, dancing freely, and being fully present. My dogs also play a big role in keeping me centred, offering a sense of calm and reminding me to slow down and simply be.
