Shayne Itzkovitz
Counsellor
Outside of therapy, I’ve always loved dance and creative expression. Whether it’s learning choreography or spending time with family and friends, I value connection, presence, and the simple things that keep me grounded.
I was drawn to this work because of a deep curiosity about people’s inner worlds and a desire to help others make sense of their experiences. I believe that even small insights can create meaningful shifts, and I strive to create a space where clients feel safe exploring both their challenges and their strengths.
I work with teens (14+) and adults navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem and body image concerns, work and vocational stress, identity exploration, and relationship challenges. Clients often describe my style as calm, reflective, and supportive. Sessions with me feel steady and encouraging, with space to move at your own pace while gently building clarity and confidence.
My approach is collaborative and client-centred, drawing from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and emotion regulation strategies. My goal is to help you feel understood while also developing the tools and insight needed for lasting growth.
