Jaye Miller

Co-Founder | Counsellor & Psychotherapist

Outside of therapy, I’m someone who really values connection and comfort – whether that’s through Pilates, time with friends and family, or designing our clinic space to feel warm and homey. Creating spaces that feel safe and inviting matters to me, both in and out of the therapy room.

I was drawn to this work because I wanted to offer the kind of support I wish I had growing up - someone safe, honest, and human to talk to. I believe no one should have to navigate hard things alone, and my hope is that clients leave feeling less alone and more connected to their goals and sense of self.

Clients often describe my style as upfront, down-to-earth, and real. Sessions with me tend to feel supportive and grounding. I’m a great fit for people who want a therapist who is genuine, honest, and willing to sit with the messy parts of life alongside them.

I work with teens (14+), adults, couples, and families navigating anxiety, depression, body image concerns, trauma, and relationship challenges. My approach is warm and collaborative, drawing from CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, EMDR and person-centred therapy.

How I Can Help

I work with clients ages 14 and up.

Individual Counselling

A personalized space to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply wanting to understand yourself more deeply, individual counselling offers support grounded in compassion and evidence-based care. Together, we work to build clarity, strengthen coping skills, and help you move toward healing and growth.

EMDR Therapy

A structured and supportive space to process difficult memories, emotions, and experiences at a pace that feels safe for you. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy that helps the brain reprocess distressing experiences so they feel less overwhelming over time. EMDR can be helpful for trauma, anxiety, past experiences that continue to affect the present, and patterns that feel hard to shift. Together, we work to help your nervous system process what has been stuck, allowing space for relief, resilience, and meaningful change.

Couples Counselling

Couples counselling provides a supportive space for partners to understand each other more deeply, navigate conflict, and rebuild trust. Using evidence-based psychological approaches, sessions help couples strengthen communication, improve emotional connection, and work through challenges in a respectful and balanced way. The focus is on developing healthier patterns, enhancing relational satisfaction, and fostering a more secure partnership.

Family Counselling

Family counselling helps families navigate conflict, transitions, and communication difficulties with the guidance of a licensed psychologist. Sessions focus on understanding patterns within the family system, improving emotional connection, and fostering supportive problem-solving. Whether addressing stress, behavioural challenges, or relational strain, family counselling provides tools to strengthen relationships and create a more connected, resilient home environment.
