  • Do you offer online or in-person sessions?
    We offer both online and in-person sessions, depending on your preference and location. Our physical office will be available starting in December 2024.
  • What should I expect in my first session?
    Your first session is a time for you to share your goals and challenges. Your therapist will work with you to create a treatment plan and answer any questions about the therapy process.
  • How long are therapy sessions?
    Each session usually lasts 50 minutes, commonly referred to as a "therapy hour." This provides time for focused conversation and ensures continuity from one session to the next. However, session length may vary based on your therapist's recommendations and your individual needs.
  • How often will I need to attend sessions?
    The frequency of sessions is tailored to your needs. Some clients benefit from weekly sessions, while others prefer biweekly or monthly appointments. Your therapist will work with you to determine a schedule that fits best.
  • Can I change my session schedule if needed?
    Yes, we understand that life is busy, so you can adjust your schedule as necessary. We do require 24 hours’ notice for rescheduling or cancellations.

    At Jade Therapy, we offer several convenient payment options for your sessions: Credit/Debit Cards: You can pay using major credit and debit cards directly at our clinic or through our secure online payment system. E-Transfer: For your convenience, we accept e-transfers. Please ask our staff for the necessary details to complete your transaction. Cash: We also accept cash payments; however, please ensure you have the exact amount as we may not have change available.   • How would an E-transfer for my session work?
    If you choose to pay via e-transfer, please send the payment to admin@jadetherapy.ca before or at the time of your session. This ensures that our clinicians are compensated for their work. When sending the e-transfer, include a security question and answer, which should be communicated to our staff in advance. After your session, we will provide you with a receipt for your records.     If you choose to pay for your session with a credit card, your card will be charged in the 24-48 hours following your appointment. This ensures that payment is processed immediately for the services rendered.     Yes, there is parking available for clients at Jade Therapy. There is parking available on both the side and the back of the building. Clients can enter through either the front or back entrances. Outdoor parking is free and accessible during our working hours.
  • How do I get to Jade Therapy?
    We recommend checking traffic predictions using Waze or Google Maps before you leave home. Our address is 6505 Route Transcanadienne; however, if you enter 555 Frederick Philips into your navigation system, it will direct you to the parking lot located at the back of the building. The location is accessible by public transit or by car.
  • Is your clinic accessible for individuals with disabilities?

  • What should I do if I’m running late for my appointment?
    If you find yourself running late, please give us a call. We will do our best to accommodate you, but late arrivals may result in a shortened session.
  • Can I bring a support person to my session?
    Yes, you are welcome to bring a support person with you to your session if it makes you feel more comfortable.
  • Is there a quiet space available to clients if I arrive early?
    Yes, clients have access to two waiting rooms while they wait for their appointments. The first waiting room, located just inside the entrance, is typically for those who arrive about 10 minutes early. For clients who arrive significantly earlier, we offer a cozy waiting nook with a desk where you can relax and unwind until your appointment. Both areas are equipped to ensure a comfortable waiting experience.
  • Can I wait in the waiting room during my child's therapy session?
    Yes, you are welcome to wait in the waiting room for the duration of your child's therapy session.
